Abelardo Morell (American, b) is one of the few remaining contemporary artists specializing in the application of Camera Obscura, an ancient photography technique that uses the obscura camera, a square-shaped structure with a small aperture that permits light to penetrate through the lens, in order to project inverted images from outside.

The technique was heavily employed by Renaissance. Each member of Board of Directors serves as an active ambassador of the Terra Foundation’s global mission.

His were the photographs that most frequently appeared in Alfred Stieglitz's groundbreaking magazine Camera Work during its publication from to Steichen laid claim to his photos of gowns for the magazine Art et Décoration inbeing the first modern .
